Carly McKenzie, D.C.

Dr. Carly McKenzie began her chiropractic journey in Frederick, Maryland in 2024. A native of La Vale, Maryland, she spent much of her childhood outdoors and playing sports, which fueled her passion for health and wellness.

Her interest in holistic healthcare started early—her 5th-grade career project focused on pursuing a future in natural health. When she discovered chiropractic care, she immediately connected with its philosophy of harnessing the body’s natural ability to heal itself through non-invasive, natural treatments. This alignment of mind, body, and a balanced lifestyle became the cornerstone of her practice philosophy.

Dr. Carly earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science, graduating cum laude from Frostburg State University in 2020. She went on to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where she was recognized for her dedication to patient care and academic excellence, receiving the prestigious Clinical Excellence Award at graduation.

She brings a holistic approach to healthcare, focusing on treating the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Her goal is to empower her patients to feel strong, independent, and informed in all aspects of their health and well-being. Dr. Carly fosters a patient-centered environment, encouraging individuals to actively participate in their healthcare decisions, helping them achieve long-term wellness.

Recognizing the unique needs of each patient, Dr. Carly utilizes a variety of chiropractic techniques, including diversified manual adjusting, Activator Method, Sacro Occipital Technique, Applied Kinesiology, Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), Webster Technique, and exercise rehabilitation. She collaborates with other healthcare providers to ensure her patients receive comprehensive, personalized care that aligns with their health goals.

When not in the clinic, Dr. Carly enjoys staying active through weightlifting, exploring the outdoors, watching sports, and spending time with her cat. She’s always seeking new ways to move her body and stay connected to her love for nature and fitness.
