Dr. Carly McKenzie, D.C.

Carly began her chiropractic career in Frederick, Maryland in 2024. As a Maryland native from La Vale, she spent a lot of my time playing sports and spending time outdoors. She had been drawn to healthcare for a long time in her life – recalling her 5th grade career day project being about working in the holistic health field. Once she found chiropractic, she quickly felt connected to the philosophy emphasizing the body’s innate ability to heal itself and focus on natural non-invasive treatment. The importance of balancing the body and maintaining a healthy lifestyle resonated deeply with her, shaping her commitment to helping others achieve optimal health through chiropractic care.

In 2024, she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic – Main Campus. She devoted herself to her studies and clinical practice as a student, seeking as much exposure as possible to reach her full potential. All of her hard work and dedication paid off when she received the Clinical Excellence Award at her graduation ceremony. In 2020, she also graduated cum laude from Frostburg State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science.

Carly believes in a holistic approach to health and wellness. She sees herself as treating the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. This perspective allows her to focus treatment on achieving optimal health and longevity. She strives to empower her patients, helping them feel strong and independent in their bodies and all aspects of life. Carly’s goal is to create a patient-centered environment where individuals are encouraged to take an active role in their health and make informed decisions about their future.

Each person is wonderfully unique, with their own distinct presentation. Recognizing this allows Carly to blend any of her chiropractic techniques and collaborate with other providers to create a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your specific presentation and goals.

She practices a wide variety of chiropractic techniques including; Diversified manual adjusting, Activator Method, Sacro Occipital Technique, Applied Kinesiology, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), pregnancy and pediatric techniques, and other rehabilitation methods.

The body is a beautiful interconnected puzzle, and she loves learning more about it every day. Chiropractic is what gives her the opportunity to help others and do what she loves, combining her passion for understanding the body’s complexities with her commitment to improving her patients’ overall health and well-being.

In her free time, she loves weightlifting, watching sports, hanging out with her cat, playing video games, and finding new ways to enjoy being outside and moving her body.
