Cranial Release Technique (CRT) is a natural, hands-on approach to releasing tension on the brain and spinal cord, improving your body’s ability to function and heal. CRT can be applied in only minutes, yet it has profound effects on overall health and well-being.
The deep neck muscles attaching the base of your skull to your neck are directly attached to the dura mater covering your brain. Some of your cranial nerves (the Vagus nerve, in particular), lymphatic and blood vessels supplying the brain can all be directly affected by strain and tension in this area due to poor posture or injury. It’s very easy to understand how this may affect your health!
Research has shown time and again the negative effects of the stress of modern day life. Chronic physical. mental, emotional, and chemical stress is implicated in everything from heart disease to impaired immune function and weight gain. Initial investigation into Cranial Release Technique and its effect on Heart Rate Variability (medically recognized as an indicator of stress) have indicated that CRT has a positive effect on reversing this abnormal “stress state.” Many people report feeling much more “relaxed and at ease” following a CRT session.

I found Dr. Morrone to be very pleasant and I find her approach refreshing. Other chiropractors I have visited basically give you an adjustment without discussing the neurological connections. Looking forward to working with her and also to see how she may be able to help my daughter.
