Your First Visit — Consultation And Examination

Your initial consultation will help Dr. Morrone learn more about your unique health history, your current health concerns, and your expectations. We can then determine if and how chiropractic care can help you meet your health goals.

After your consultation, Dr. Morrone will perform a complete chiropractic examination to determine the cause of your health concerns. She will do a thorough neurologic and orthopedic examination to evaluate your mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, and nervous system function. All examination procedures will be explained, and nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

X-Ray Studies

Your complaint and history may require us to order x-rays or MRIs to get a full evaluation of your condition. X-rays help us rule out more serious conditions and assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you. If you have films or test results from other health care providers, please let us know and bring them with you if possible.

Your Second Visit — Report of Findings

Once all the information and examinations have been performed, Dr. Morrone will schedule a Report of Findings appointment to answer the most common questions:

  • What is wrong with me?
  • Can you help me?
  • What do you recommend that I do to get better?
  • How much is it going to cost?

After reviewing with you your history and your goals, examining your spine and nervous system and reviewing any x-rays or tests, Dr. Morrone will discuss specific recommendations with you. If you have a condition that requires care with other providers, the doctor will tell you and provide referrals. If Dr. Morrone believes she can help you, she will recommend a complete care plan designed to get you well.

Patients will generally be provided with their first adjustment after the report of findings. This will include spinal adjustments, physical therapies, and/or soft tissue therapies when necessary. Dr. Morrone will explain all treatments in detail, and will discuss any questions or concerns you may have.

Getting Well and Staying Well…

During the course of your care, you will be given specific instructions to help improve your healing process. This may include avoidance of certain activities or positions, home exercises and/or stretches, or nutritional recommendations.

The foundation of healthy lifestyle is maintaining a healthy spine and nervous system, good posture and spinal alignment, eating a healthy diet, and stress management. As you get healthier, we will work with you to create better health habits and routines that support your success!

I found Dr. Morrone to be very pleasant and I find her approach refreshing. Other chiropractors I have visited basically give you an adjustment without discussing the neurological connections. Looking forward to working with her and also to see how she may be able to help my daughter.
